The "Paducah / McCracken County Joint 2025 Comprehensive Plan" cost the taxpayers a lot of money and has an established public forum, with a way to provide a bit of feedback. It appears that this feedback is essentially ignored by those that are administering the program. I have contacted the planning commission by phone and posted a response on their feedback form but have yet to recieve any kind of response in nearly two weeks. I shall keep trying.
- QUOTE: As community leaders and active citizens, you have valuable ideas. You have worthy aspirations for the future. And, you have meaningful opinions about what will make McCracken County and its communities the best possible places to live, work, play and invest. These ideas, aspirations, and opinions matter to the city/county planning team and will help decision makers chart the best courses for the city & county’s future.
I think once they realise that this wiki site is open to all and easy for anyone to edit, they may participate and link to it, as was promised. Maybe they just need more time. We'll see. CQ 19:20, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
- This whole effort proved to be a tremendous waste of time. To hell with Paducah. ... OK well maybe not. It is interesting to see how long-standing ideas become long-running projects. Maybe by the year 2020, someone will notice this talk page! Meanwhile - note to self - "we" need to delink more of these bogus links like the one that was above. Paducah2020.org is registered and redirects to this Wikia site until July 2012. • CQ 02:40, February 10, 2012 (UTC)
Link Transition Kentucky USA has been established. Paducah2020 is listed here. We can use this wiki for development and brainstorming. More is being done... Stay tuned. Leave me a message below if you're getting involved. CQ 19:42, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
